The Exorcist. The scariest movie ever made. This movie was directed by William Friedkin in 1973. This movie was so scary that even the psychologist thought it could trigger neurosis in people who watched it.

This movie is based on a book. And this book was inspired by real-life exorcism.

The people who were associated with this movie like the production department and the Actors died. 

The filming of the movie had just begun but the sets were burned down by the fire. Except for Regan's bedroom. Then this filming had been halted for six weeks.

When the film was released, the number of heart attacks increased. This was happening worldwide. The people who would watch the movie were given sick bags.

The film made people so nauseous that theatres started handing out bags to vomit in with every movie ticket.

The events happening during the filming and post-release made the cast and crew believe the set to be cursed and a priest had to come to bless it.

This was the first film to be nominated for Best Picture at the Academy Awards.
